I am using 3DprinterOS with a Dremel 3D40. I made the design in Tinkercad and imported it to 3dPrinterOS. The estimated time to print is 141 hours and 51 minutes. The estimate in Tinkercad is a little over 3 hours. Is there a way to speed this up?
Firstly, the less critical parts can be printed in a zigzag pattern, and the layer thickness directly affects the printing speed and details. Lower resolution means thicker layers. Another issue is that the initial layer needs to be slower than subsequent layers to ensure good adhesion, and the speed can be increased to improve efficiency. At the same time, the shrinkage rate of ABS and PETG is between 0.2-0.5%, which is relatively low. Filament with high shrinkage rates may require slower printing speeds to reduce the risk of interlayer delamination. So perhaps you can also try using a different type of filament.
