Having some issues I once had and think it's come back. I am using Fusion 360 to model and exporting 'bodies' as STL files. These load in everything for STL I have including the Dremel cloud print site (this software) as well Simplify3D and others. The issue becomes using the exported paths from Simplify3D (.g3drem files) into the print cloud service.
I just now attempted a print of a file after upload (ID #2235720) which was generated using the Simplify3D settings for the Dremel 3D45 printer (they are partners). This has worked in the past (several months ago) and I would simply save the toolpath file (.g3drem) and upload to the print cloud using the 3D45 printer selection. I would then inspect and issue the job.
Upon heating nozzle and bed, the bed would raise as if it were printing and then at the top, just sit there for a few seconds before the printer reported 'Print Finished' and reset the bed and turn off the temps. I've done this numerous times on this and other models with the same outcome.
I then took the exported STL from Fusion 360 and imported the raw file into the print cloud, did a conversion for the 3D45 and fix action, then preview and print and it's now printing. These seem to work fine but I am unable to generate the infill parameters and support forms I need from Simplify3d since they do not print.
These settings have not changed and have worked in the past and I'm hoping maybe something has changed in firmware (I updated a few months ago to the latest from Dremel and no new firmware is available) so I'm confused. Again, I had this exact issue several months back and getting discouraged and offlining the printer for a month I came back and it was working again without changing anything. This is why I post again today.
I am literate enough to check, try, or do things. I've checked Dashboard for the Job/Queue ID but because the printer is hung with the cloud print site; I have to 'cancel' and abort the print to get it usable again. The item ID that I have just tried is ID #2235720 and is in my files area.
